i think "who would you rather have a beer with?" is a stupid premise [besides, i prefer cognac...] , as is "they're just like me" is a stupid premise, on which to vote for a Presidential candidate! for god's sake, we need someone smarter than us! - voting for people like W - because he "SEEMED" like a regular "joe six pack" is what got us into 95% of this s--t we're in!

now that "we the people" have bailed out almost ALL the financial institutions, while we're going broke, we are in essence a socialist state... so, i want the benefits of one! i want health care... subsidies for everything... public transit... get the damned am-trak going everywhere... and can i have a bus stop close to my house?
